Corporate Social Responsibility

At Dane Computer, one of our keywords is credibility and this is expressed in our corporate social responsibility. We define responsibility as the social responsibility; we take for the local community, our employees, business partners and customers. At Dane Computer we believe that it is of great importance that our responsibility reflects our values and ethical foundation. We acknowledge that our corporate social responsibility benefits both us and the society around us.

Focus on the environment

Dane Computer’s waste management policy focuses on reducing the negative effect on the environment. Defective server- and computer components are trashed with consideration for the environment and packaging is recycled. Therefore, Dane Computer meets the Danish environmental rules regarding waste treatment.

An active participant in the local community

Dane Computer is located in Hjallerup, Denmark, where a strong community and association activities are thriving. Dane Computer strives to be an active participant in the local community’s cultural life and in the association activities in order to strengthen the town and its future development. That is why we make financial contributions to different causes. In the past years, we have contributed to biographical presentations in collaboration with the organization Rotary. Most recently, entertainer and therapist Finn Nørbygaard and former Danish police commissioner Hanne Bech-Hansen gave a presentation. Furthermore Dane Computer has also made contributions to Families with children affected by cancer and the organization Lions.

At Dane Computer we want to attract and retain the most talented and qualified employees. Therefore we attach great importance to job satisfaction. We are in a clean and neat setting in order to set the framework for motivation and involvement. We weight diversity among the employees, which means, that both men and women are represented in our team.
