Before Dane Computer was established, Birgitte worked six years for one of the first broker companies in Denmark. From the beginning Dane Computer was based on good business acumen and when the opportunity occurred to move into the old grocery shop in Hjallerup, in the northern part of Denmark, it seemed to be a solid base and a step forward. Over the years, Dane Computer has evolved and faced a lot of challanges. For a period, the company offered consultancy focusing on installing visma solutions, back-up and production solutions. At that time, a team of technicians were employed in order to provide service to customers or business partners in the entire region.

After trying different aspects of the IT business, Dane Computer returned to the original concept as a broker company in 2005. Now with a larger international network and new experiences it was now time to return to what used to be the core area of Dane Computer. Again it was time to focus on the pillars, on which Dane Computer in 1998 was built. Since 2005, the company has specialized in IBM products. The decision on specializing in IBM produtcs was also appreciated by the Danish newspaper Børsen and the bank Jyske Bank, that nominated Dane Computer as a “Gazelle” company in 2006 – Dane Computer was considered a company in economic growth.

To maintain and to get new business relations are not getting easier in time and especially because of the influence of the internet relations are not appreciated as before. Therefore, Dane Computer is particularly proud of keeping old business relations – the best is constantly the joy of commerce, when both parties are feeling content.
